However, our shopfront is a digital website. Our distribution channels are pre-existing internet connections that our customers pay for; to be able to access the internet. Our stock is in a digital format requiring minimal amount of physical storage space. Almost all our processes are automated, requiring minimal maintenance. Our customers visit our shop from the comfort of their homes at any time from anywhere in the world. Our main competitors are obviously other download websites but indirectly traditional website retailers, such as Amazon.com. We see digital media as disposable when its price point is low. We'd like you to think back to when you would record a TV programme on a VHS tape, if you wanted to reuse that tape to record another programme you in essence have thrown away the pre-existing copied programme. The same is true of cheap digital content, without the packaging and material branding; the intimate connections people make with physical items are lost. People delete unused files from their hard drives to free up space or copy files onto reusable CD/DVD formats that may just get stored and lost/thrown away like a stack of old VHS tapes. If a customer knows which film they want, they can use our search tool to find it quickly and easily. They can search for films based on title, actor, director or genre. Alternatively, they can browse through the catalogue of titles by clicking on the various tabs listed at the top of the each page (TV, films, music videos etc). ScreenKarma.com sells films on a purchase basis; either watch the film via streaming or after the download is complete. Titles which are purchased have a license that a customer agrees to adhere to per the Terms and Conditions. These titles are comprised of digital files which are delivered to the customer's computer via their internet connection (speed dependent upon their connection speed), then the files can be downloaded to their portable video player or streamed on their pc or copied to DVD. Please note: Not all films are available in all formats or to all countries, dependent upon licensing agreements.

ScreenKarma.com is not just a provider of high quality streaming video but has versions in Pocket PC (PPC), iPod, Playstation Portable (PSP) and other portable formats.
